McDonald’s Innovation Center

Oftentimes the hardest working spaces are those most overlooked. That was certainly the case at McDonald’s Innovation Center in Romeoville, Illinois. The high-functioning, purposefully discreet facility is at the center of the corporations new processes, products, and equipment. Despite producing industry-changing patents and procedures, the environment itself was uninspiring, outdated, and  off-brand. Studio O+A partnered with the Innovation Team to refresh the interiors with a focus on authenticity, transparency, and function.
