Abaca

When developers reached out to O+A to help design a new multi-tenant residential development in the Dog patch, we knew we needed to take a long look at the past before charting the future. Located on a site that was once home to the Tubbs Cordage Company, the building had a rich tie to the industrial character that shaped the neighborhood—and helped build the Bay. Looking to tie the Maritime past with the entrepreneurial present, we created brand positioning, graphics and interior spaces inviting the digital longshoreman to call the space home.
